REALITY STAR AND WWE SUSPERSTAR TRINITY FATU MAKES WWE TELEVISION HISTORY THEN IT'S TAKEN AWAY

What a great month to be young, Black, and make your mark!!! Thousands of wrestling fans rejoiced on February 12th - when reality star, athlete & dancer Trinity Fatu, aka Naomi, finally set her goal and won her first title hold. Making her the third woman, and first African American, to win the prestigious Smackdown Live! Woman's Champion for the Word Wrestling Entertainment.

The E! Reality "Total Divas" star, eight year run in the company though has sure has had it's ups & downs. Back in 2014, she suffered a bruised orbital bone - but insisted on continuing to perform with a bedazzled eye patch. Later that year she was removed from the hit reality show on the E! Channel.   Fatu celebrated her win backstage with her husband, Jonathan Fatu, who competes on the same show. Sadly her world would come crushing down just nine days later when Trinity/Naomi was forced to relinquish the belt on a live segment in front of the world. The reason behind the abrupt decision, a knee injury, sustained in her winning match.

I feel eight years of being the underdog is far too long. What do you OMGOSSIPERS think, do you feel WWE took to long to give Trinity a title run? Could this injury be just another fictional story-line?
